Steve is a Canadian Ballroom Champion and Gay Games Gold Medalist (Cologne, Germany). His career has been featured on CBS’s Inside Edition and in media outlets such as LA Times Magazine, ABC, and NBC. He holds a marketing degree from the University of Mississippi and is a former PBS talk show host.

In addition to his athletic and media background, Steve is a top-producing local realtor and serves as Chairman of the Lake Arrowhead Municipal Advisory Council for San Bernardino County’s 3rd District. His philanthropic efforts include raising over $500,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in a Top 5 national campaign alongside his former dance partner, the late Dr. May-Ling Hutchins.

Steve also facilitates “Ballroom Burn,” a group dance class designed for individuals to learn the fundamentals of various styles—including Mambo, Cha Cha, Tango, and Waltz—without the requirement of a partner.
