Sharon McCormick, Founder and Director of Lake Arrowhead School of Dance, has been teaching for 34 years. She demands exactness in technique and has scrupulous attention to fine points for the dancers, this instills in the school and company a touchstone of excellence. Her dancers have danced with San Francisco Ballet, Colorado Ballet, San Jose Ballet, Cleveland Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, Boston Ballet, Ballet West, Houston Ballet, American Ballet Theater and Joffrey Ballet. Many have auditioned and been accepted to Colleges with Dance Programs such as: University of California At Irvine, Long Beach State, San Diego State, University of Utah,University of Arizona,and many more. She truly provides the community with a school that prepares dancers for the future, whether it be as a professional dancer or a college career.
