Lyndsay Espinosa began dancing at age 3, taking ballet and tap classes. At age 5, she started her gymnastic training, and trained for 8 years studying under national championship coaches at Newhope Gymnastics Academy, dedicating 25 hours weekly to competition gymnastics training. This intense training included weekly ballet classes to instill the classic aspects of dance into our gymnastics style and routines. Lyndsay developed a passion for choreography as well during this time, always willing to contribute her time to school spirit weeks, choreographing cheers and dances throughout her education.
Lyndsay graduated with a 4.7 gpa as a Distinguished Scholar and was given an academic scholarship to Pepperdine University, where she was able to take a ballet intensive course, while pursuing her Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry. After graduating, she found her calling as a gymnastics instructor and coached recreational and competition gymnastics. We are glad to welcome Lyndsay as our new gymnastics instructor.
