Jennifer Alford brings more than three decades of diverse dance experience to the Lake Arrowhead School of Dance. Beginning her training at the age of two, she has studied and performed in tap, jazz, lyrical, ballet, African, and modern contemporary dance. Jennifer trained at the prestigious University of North Carolina School of the Arts in their high school contemporary dance program and later continued her studies in dance at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill. Her performance career includes performing on a summer Celebrity Cruise Ship from New York to Bermuda, Disney Orlando, numerous dance competitions including ShowStooper and Tremaine, as well as advanced training and workshops in New York and Los Angeles.

Following a career-ending injury, Jennifer earned her Ph.D. in Environmental Geography and currently serves as an Associate Professor at California State University, San Bernardino, where she also directs the CSUSB Institute for Watershed Resiliency. Jennifer is thrilled to join the exceptional faculty at the Lake Arrowhead School of Dance and looks forward to sharing her passion, artistry, and dedication with the next generation of dancers.
